BREAKING: Arkansas gets second DT commitment of the week in GA Three-Star

After adding his offer from Arkansas in May, Johnson only needed a look at what the university had to offer before opting to move from a Fayetteville, Ga. another.

“It was a great visit, really,” Johnson said. “This one definitely opened my eyes to Fayetteville, Arkansas, I’ll tell you. It was really good, definitely a 10 out of 10 visit. I liked everything.”

Although the Razorback staff added another DT from Peach State earlier this week, offers for that position are fairly rare in nature. This staff discretion caught Johnson’s attention and reinforced the tight-knit culture we’ve heard so much about under head coach Sam Pittman.

“I spoke to a few of the recruits and they said this school doesn’t just offer people,” Johnson said. “Once they propose to you, they want you to be part of the family. Without a doubt, this visit really showed that.”

With commitment No. 17 on the books, the staff enters the stalemate with the nation’s eighth class in 2023, joining Clemson, Georgia, Notre Dame and Ohio State in the top ten – and they are yet to finish. .

A number of recent official visitors have decision dates coming up, and staff might be pleasantly surprised by returning to the office at the end of the off period.
