Winter weather leaves more than 30,000,000 without power in Arkansas

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – As temperatures dip below freezing in Arkansas, energy companies in the state are reporting that thousands of people are without power.

According to PowerOutages.US, more than 20,000 customers in Arkansas are currently without power.

As of Friday morning, the majority of power outages were in eastern Arkansas.

Entergy officials noted Wednesday that the company will work to restore power as the winter storm moves through the state.

Company officials have also encouraged customers to turn off all electricity until power is restored.
